Bobby Wasserman
Founded in 1987
Food for Thought New York Style Deli and Custom Catering, began as a small Deli created by Bobby "The Deli King" Wasserman in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh in 1987.
At Home in Oakland
Bobby moved the business to Regent Square for a short time, then settled to a larger location on Craig Street in Oakland. A restaurant was added and became a big hit with the breakfast, lunch, and early dinner crowd.
Diners also love to take in the ambiance of Oakland while dining at the added window counter.
Local Small Business
Jackie Craig-McGoldrick manages the Deli and together with Bobby have grown the business into a booming Deli and Catering Business.
History in the Making
